Tracie O. Afifi is a Full Professor at the University of Manitoba's Rady Faculty of Health Sciences and holder of a Tier 1 Canada Research Chair. Her research program centers on the epidemiology of adverse childhood experiences, mental health, and problem gambling — including a doctoral dissertation focused specifically on problem gambling among women in Canada.
